JULIE INGRAM — VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAM
Julie loves the community outreach and partnership development aspect of her position as well as knowing that BBBS is making a difference in the lives of the community’s youth. Julie is a licensed clinical social worker and has worked in the mental/behavioral health field for more than twenty years as a behavioral health technician, mental health therapist and clinical supervisor.
Julie has also volunteered every Saturday for the past ten years at a therapeutic riding facility for individuals with special needs. Julie loves horseback riding and has two dogs. She also loves spending time in the mountains and near water any chance she gets.
SARAH PIANO — MANAGING REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Sarah was raised in Gallup, New Mexico, since she was eight years old, and she loves the blend of culture and beauty that New Mexico offers. Sarah has a background in fund development and public relations working for both Rehoboth Hospital and the City of Gallup. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2008. Sarah has been a big sister twice to two amazing young ladies. She was matched with her first little sister for six years and with her second little sister for two years and is still in contact with both of them.
Sarah’s favorite part about her job is getting to meet and develop new relationships with people every day and knowing that she is making a difference. In her non-work life, Sarah enjoys playing on a city soccer league, being involved in her church, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two rambunctious dogs.
SARAH ROGALA — DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Sarah’s background is in social work. She worked for five years as a school-based therapist at Ortiz Middle school and then went on to be the supervisor of the CCSS program for Presbyterian Medical Services.
Throughout college, Sarah was a Big Sister to Little Sister Ebony. When she began looking for a way to make a bigger impact on the lives of children in New Mexico, she remembered her experience as a mentor. Now she’s a Big Sister once again—to Little Sister Brianda—and is dedicated to helping Big Brothers Big Sisters serve as many children in New Mexico as possible.
GINA TRUJILLO — BUSINESS MANAGER
Gina has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region for three years. She has a personal connection to the agency as a parent of two littles, one of which has been matched for eight years. Prior to joining BBBS, Gina spent eighteen years as the vice president of operations for a locally owned, independent retailer.
Gina earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Though a native of Georgia, she has called Santa Fe home for more than twenty-three years. She enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
MARINA YBARRA — INFORMATION MANAGER
Marina is a native New Mexican from Santa Fe. She started her career as a special events coordinator for a local B&B, after which she joined the Southwest Association of Indian Arts (Santa Fe Indian Market) first as a development associate and then as the membership and volunteer coordinator.
When she’s not nerding out about databases, spreadsheets, and websites you can find her hanging out with her amazing daughter, her awesome family and friends, and her three pups. In her free time, Marina likes to be creative and crafty, and is always looking for a sweet volunteer opportunity in the community.
