COMMUNITY OUTREACH/DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR – MCKINLEY COUNTY

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region is looking for a hard-working, driven individual who is well connected to the communities of Gallup, Grants, and Window Rock.

An excellent candidate for this position will have:

      • Strong oral communication skills.
      • Excellent relationship building skills; developing relationships with private, government, and tribal sectors of the community; recruiting mentors and youth into our program.
      • Attention to detail.
      • A background in marketing, public relations or fund development is preferred.
      • Ability to assist Fund Development, which includes but is not limited to giving presentations, setting up informational booths, soliciting corporate sponsors and helping to organize events.

Minimum qualifications:

      • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree plus 4 years of fundraising experience preferred. Additional fundraising experience or transferable skills may substitute part of educational requirement.
      • Willing and able to work irregular hours and have a flexible work schedule when necessary. Available to attend events in the early morning, evening, and weekends.
      • Willing and able to use personal vehicle for local travel on Agency business, with valid NM driver’s license and proof of insurance.

This is a part time, exempt position (32 hours/week).

Salary range: $26,288 to $36,608 + Excellent Benefits.

Salary and hours are negotiable.

Program Specialist – Santa Fe

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region is seeking a Program Specialist for Santa Fe County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region (BBBSMR) is looking for a community-focused, dynamic Program Specialist to join our innovative and collaborative team. BBBSMR provides one-to-one mentoring services to children facing adversity that empower them to reach their fullest potential. This person will be able to quickly build relationships with children, parents, and volunteers and successfully establish, monitor, and meet goals for contacts, match relationship length and customer satisfaction.  The Program Specialist will provide customer service to volunteers, youth, and families by efficiently and effectively enrolling, matching, and supporting them in the BBBSMR program.  Experience with diverse populations and bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Salary range: Begins at base of $35,568 DOE (FTE 1.0) + Excellent Benefits.

Outreach Coordinator/Program Specialist – Silver City

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region (BBBSMR) is looking for a community-focused, creative Outreach Coordinator/ Program Specialist to join our innovative and collaborative team. BBBSMR provides one-to-one mentoring services to children facing adversity that empower them to reach their fullest potential.

An excellent candidate for this position will:

        • Plan and organize events for volunteers and matches.
        • Plan and develop strategies and innovative recruitment ideas to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual volunteer recruiting goals.
        • Work closely with school districts to keep and grow school-based programs; this includes obtaining and keeping MOUs within individual schools.
        • Be able to quickly build relationships with children, parents, and volunteers and successfully establish, monitor, and meet goals for contacts, match relationship length and customer satisfaction.

Base salary from $35,568 based on experience.  Salaries are negotiable based on education and experience.
