Chief Program Officer

Big Brothers Big Sisters  Mountain Region seeks an inspiring, collaborative, and innovative Chief Program Officer to oversee the wide variety of mentoring programs delivered to communities throughout N.M.  

The Chief Program Officer (CPO) will report to the CEO and be responsible for the overall quality and capacity building of program services as well as program sustainability and growth through partnership development. They will also implement an ongoing process of program & staff development, galvanizing staff in delivering exceptional customer service to volunteers, youth, families, and community partners They must be motivated to foster a positive organizational culture ensuring a professionally thriving workforce grounded in our values and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) and trauma-informed practices.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum: 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred and 5-7 years of related work experience with a track record of leadership, accomplishment, and customer service deliverables. 
  • Strong yet collegial management style reflecting the ability to manage and lead people and groups, develop leaders and teams, and build organization and staff capacity and promote individual and organizational success.

Outreach Coordinator/Program Specialist – Santa Fe

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region (BBBSMR) is looking for a community-focused, creative Outreach Coordinator/ Program Specialist to join our innovative and collaborative team. BBBSMR provides one-to-one mentoring services to children facing adversity that empower them to reach their fullest potential.

An excellent candidate for this position will:

    • Plan and organize events for volunteers and matches.
    • Plan and develop strategies and innovative recruitment ideas to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual volunteer recruiting goals.
    • Work closely with school districts to keep and grow school-based programs; this includes obtaining and keeping MOUs within individual schools.
    • Be able to quickly build relationships with children, parents, and volunteers and successfully establish, monitor, and meet goals for contacts, match relationship length and customer satisfaction.

Program Specialist – Santa Fe

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region is seeking a Program Specialist for Santa Fe County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region (BBBSMR) is looking for a community-focused, dynamic Program Specialist to join our innovative and collaborative team. BBBSMR provides one-to-one mentoring services to children facing adversity that empower them to reach their fullest potential. This person will be able to quickly build relationships with children, parents, and volunteers and successfully establish, monitor, and meet goals for contacts, match relationship length and customer satisfaction.  The Program Specialist will provide customer service to volunteers, youth, and families by efficiently and effectively enrolling, matching, and supporting them in the BBBSMR program.  Experience with diverse populations and bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Salary range: Begins at base of $35,568 DOE (FTE 1.0) + Excellent Benefits.
